CVS is really one of my favorite places to shop.

They have a special Buy $12 worth of products and get $6 in ECBs back. Great deal.

I bought 6 Lady Speed Stick. Now first, I should tell you I do not shop on the first day of the sale typically. If I do not find the deal there is no worries because another one is around the corner.

I used 3 Buy 1 Get 1 coupons. Which took off $3.99. Total price... $0 Taxes of $0.78

AND they gave me $6

Dinner made easy!

Made dinner and my kids ate all the meat! So what is mama and papa to do? Take out... Hubby requested a sub from publix and I would get chinese food ... Challenge how to make a $14 tab CHEAPER!!!!

Savings on the essentials!

Money Makers are always to be found. Timed well with a store promotion and the manufacturers publishing of GREAT coupons is a recipe for great gain! I have been seroiusly shopping with coupons and keeping aware of sales cycles for a year now. WOW! A whole year. I used to keep a spreadsheet of my savings etc. but that did not last long. Anyway, I digress. This morning I found the need to get deli meat, jam and a bagel. I also just printed 3 $3 off coupons of The Schick Quattro for women trimmer (retails for 11.99). I have been waiting for a good deal. When shopping, I always look at the clearance rack you never know what you will find. Earlier in the week, I found the trimmers on clearance for $6. With a coupon $3 is a good deal, but I wanted better that, I wanted a GREAT deal.

Back to the money makers.. All month long the GAS-X money maker at Publix has been very profitable. When I went in this morning there were 18 boxes! I did have coupons for all but I only bought 12. With the $3+ overage for every 2 that I bought it covered the 3 trimmers! and the Ham, Turkey and Strawberry Jam that were FULL price no coupons and at the end of the day.

How to Roll Your Money!

There is a strategy at the drugstores to use their money to make money with very little of your money out of pocket!

Here is what I mean. I went to CVS and started with $8 ECBs I bought some items and spent $.45 and received $12 in ECBs.

First, I go to CVS quite a bit... It really is on the way to pick up kids or kill time between pick ups etc. So it is really not an out of the way trip. I have been keeping my eye on clearance Pantene products and the hair color for a couple of weeks now. (Many bloggers have been posting to keep me eye out). With my coupons already clipped and in my purse I have been keeping my eyes out for a sale or a great deal!

So here is how it works

1 Estroven (money maker pay 9.99 and get 9.99 back)
3 TeddyGrams togo $1 each

Had to but a lolly pop to take my before tax total to $0
